Behind the Bikinis

(The short version)

Hi, I'm Diane, it all began with one bikini, our 60's/70's inspired Retro Bikini.

One Spring Sunday morning in 2016, while I was getting ready for one of my special events, when my then 10 1/2-year-old son asked "mom, when are you going to spend time with us this weekend?" My heart fell into my stomach. He was right. Even though my small wedding & event planning business wasn't taking up all my weekends, it was however, taking up enough for him to react. So, I went on hiatus, figuring out what else I loved to do, that I could do from home and that provided a better schedule; sewing bikinis was it. So, I grabbed some of my favorite bikinis that I had already been sewing up for fun and started to redesign them. It was a big risk and huge investment, but I had to try. I made samples for friends to test out and kept pressing forward. My most favorite bikini of all, and the biggest challenge was my Retro Bikini, but once I mastered sewing it, it has become the most rewarding suit for me to complete. 

There were many trials and tribulations along the way, but thankfully there's been amazing people who've been here from the very beginning, and who still support my bikini business adventure even today.

What sets my suits apart is not just my commitment to quality craftsmanship, and custom designs, but also my roots. Wild Life Bikinis® is a small Woman-Owned Business, I'm a 4th generation Native American Indian, adding a touch of cultural richness to my creations, specifically focusing on the details and providing you with handmade sexy bikinis you will be excited to wear year-after-year.
